Betty and Wilma

Dogs for Adoption

Hey I’m ‘Betty Rubble’ & this is my best friend ‘Wilma Flintstone’, just like the colouring of the characters hair that is how you decipher between us. I am a little more reserved and it takes time for me to build up a bond with new people. I am quite an independent character and do my own thing and speak up if I am not happy. I prefer my feet to stay on the ground and sadly would not share a meal with you as I love food too much! As you may tell even Wilma has had no luck! I am happy to entertain myself and do enjoy being in the car with Wilma for days out.

Wilma and I get up to some fun stuff such as seeing who can jump the highest, sadly I lost to Wilma who managed to get on the side and find some yummy treats! Given the chance we would enjoy playing with cats but they do not feel the same and Wilma can be too chatty when out on walks for us to meet other dogs. We are happy within our own bubble though and do need an adult only home without visiting children as sadly I do not have that maternal side. We would both need to be kept on lead and with our muzzles on when out and about as we do tend to wonder off and Wilma loves to do a bit of gardening so our home must be secure. Obviously being Terriers we love the outdoors and Wilma beats me every time at running but I try.

Leicester Animal Aid are a registered charity that rescue & re-home unwanted and neglected cats and dogs.
