Betty and Wilma

Dogs for Adoption

 Breed Size Sex Age

Hey I’m Betty @LeicsAnimalAid and this is my best friend Wilma, we are looking for a new home where we will stay together so we can curl up on the sofa and enjoy watching TV. We love to curl up on your knee and will keep you warm on those cold nights. We are typical Jack Russells and love to be active and on the go but do have selective hearing and are a little selective with other dogs so do keep us on the lead.

I do love to make people laugh with my wagging bum and ‘JRT Hop’ when I run, Wilma does it occasionally but I look cooler! We have had a sleep over at Grandma’s and she has a dog but we had to slowly be introduced before we were allowed to stay. Sadly we are not keen on cats so could not live with them, but we love being in the car! It is best to walk us before as we get too excited and natter away in the back wondering where we are going.

We have had interaction with children but sadly Wilma was not comfortable and this is the main reason our owners are having to rehome us. They are expecting a baby and we are still not fully housetrained so there will be limited time spend with us and we love having fuss and attention, Wilma goes in a sulk if she has not had her daily dose of cuddles.

Leicester Animal Aid are a registered charity that rescue & re-home unwanted and neglected cats and dogs.

If you are interested in giving one of their dogs a home, please give them a call on 01455 888 257 or complete an interested parties form. Alternatively you can come and visit the kennels between 10am – 2.30pm (They are open everyday, except Christmas Day), no appointment necessary.

They ask any potential owners to complete an Interested Parties Form. You can do this at the Centre or download it and email it back to them at
