Dog for Adoption

Boss has been with us for a few months but had to move foster so we’ve been giving him time to settle back down. He has charmed everyone he has met and tends to behave himself most of the time – except when trying to sneak onto his foster Mum and Dad’s bed!

Boss’s is about 6 years old.

Boss, like all staffies, is very people orientated and has spent some time around children but he is a big lad who has a tendency to get over excited so we think he would need to be with children over 5 years! He definitely doesn’t like cats although is learning to behave around a couple of guinea pigs. He prefers dogs of the quiet and calm variety so could potentially live with a calm female, after careful introductions although he might be happier living as an only dog.

He is neutered and will be vaccinated and wormed by the rescue.

Staffordshire Rescue Scotland If you would like to foster or adopt a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, all homes and dogs will be vetted to ensure your home is suitable as a lifelong home/foster home for one of the many staffies we have in rescue. SBT Rescue Scotland operate on a home-from-home basis: they don’t have a rehoming centre with dogs in kennels where people can view the dogs. They don’t have continually manned telephones as we are all volunteers.
