Dog for Adoption

 Breed Size Sex Age

Bernie is a sweet and beautiful shepherd cross who has been unlucky in life and waited too long for a forever home of his own. He would love a quiet, preferably rural, home, as he can be sensitive to noises and would appreciate a peaceful and quiet routine. Ideally he would like another dog as a companion but he could live as an only dog in the right home. He quickly learns to trust people and is wishing for someone to love him forever.

Bernie is a work in progress as he can be vocal when meeting some dogs (not all) on the lead. We will offer behavioural support to help him overcome his remaining issues. He is a very loving and handsome chap who just wants someone to love and understand him. He will grow in confidence and security once he is fully settled and loved. He is fully house-trained and lead-trained and is a bright boy. He will benefit from more training and a patient adopter. Please get in touch if you think you may be able to give Bernie the home he has been waiting for.

Bernie and his siblings were born in a public shelter in Romania, before a rescue saved them from impending death. His siblings and mother are now happily adopted but Bernie is looking for a new home after his adopter became ill.

Give a Dog a Home UK is a non-profit rescue mainly rehoming dogs that come over from Greece, Cyprus and Romania. They mainly rehome to the South East but also much further afield.
