Bobby is a very handsome young adult of medium size (17kg) with an adorable pirate eye patch, unique dappled skin pigmentation and a curly white tail. Bobby had been living in an adoptive home but unfortunately found it very difficult to adjust to life as an only dog without the off-lead exercise he needs to thrive. So it was decided he needed to be rehomed with at least one other dog.
Bobby has back with his original fosterer in Surrey for several months now and doing so very well. He gets on brilliantly with the (12+) other dogs in his foster home, often with more dogs coming and going. He has shown no problems with any other dogs – even around food and is good with the people he meets out and about. Bobby has even been going out on regular jogs with some friends of his fosterer’s who wanted a running companion! Despite being new people, Bobby gives them all his trust and is so excited to go out with them…he boings right into their car from his fosterer’s house!
Bobby is really enjoying time off-lead (his recall is brilliant so he’s a pleasure to walk). (View video below.) He was nervous in his adoptive home but has never shown this in his foster home. It will be onwards and upwards for Bobby now that it is known he needs canine companionship and exercise to burn off his energy. Bobby’s fosterer loves him and wishes he could stay forever, but she needs his space in order to save other rescue dogs.
Bobby is an active young boy who is looking for an outdoorsy, dog-experienced family who will allow him to run off lead every day and get the physical and mental stimulation he requires. He is brilliant off-lead and loves to explore but never goes far and has great recall. (View video below). Bobby is such a loving and sweet boy and will thrive in the right home.
Poor Bobby (originally named Ariel) was originally found as a lone pup in the middle of the street, with nobody to care for him and no home to call his own. He grew up in a rescue shelter where he was well cared for but did not have the human or canine family guidance that every puppy deserves. He is now wishing for a home of his own with someone who can take him under their wings forever.
As travel costs for Bobby have been covered already, we are able to offer a discounted adoption fee to his future family.
Give a Dog a Home UK is a non-profit rescue mainly rehoming dogs that come over from Greece, Cyprus and Romania. They mainly rehome to the South East but also much further afield.
