Dog for Adoption

 Breed Size Sex Age

Finbar recently arrived in our care. He has proved to be a lovely, calm and gentle boy. We think he had a hard unhappy life before being rescued from the pound in Ireland.

Finbar or Fin as we call hi is approximately 2 years old.

For those of you looking for a less active around the house hound, Finbar is for you.

He is….

  1.  Totally crate trained – loves his crate
  2.  Good with both boy and girl dogs in his foster home
  3.  Has been clean
  4.  Sleeps though the night
  5.  Quiet and undemanding
  6.  Loving affectionate boy

He is ready for a forever home now, having been neutered, chipped, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated.

We feel he could be happy homed with other dogs or equally content as an only dog as long as his family are around most of the day to keep him company.

Lurcher SOS are all volunteers and their mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and home abused, abandoned and neglected Lurchers and Greyhounds from Ireland and the UK. They also rescue Whippets and all other sighthounds too!
