Dickens is a well-travelled boy, originating from The Republic of Rwanda and spending some time living in France before coming to the UK with his previous owner.

Dickens really enjoys the company of humans and is a big softy at heart. He loves to play fetch, and will certainly keep new owners active and on their toes!

He can sometimes get over excited, so new owners will need to continue his training in the home to keep him calm and focused. He is already coming on leaps and bounds and will make a fantastic companion.

Dickens is a big strong boy, and can initially be a little pully on the lead, so will require someone willing to work with him on this. He is very food motivated which means he is very responsive during his training sessions. He is an extremely bright boy and loves to learn new things.

Dickens is looking for a lovely new family to call his own. He likes to be on the go, so would be suited to an outdoor orientated family.

He would certainly benefit from attending training and activity classes to keep him stimulated and active. This will also be a fantastic way to get the whole family involved in his training and care.

Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary has provided and continues to provide hundreds of abandoned animals with a second chance. At any one time the Sanctuary can be looking after several hundred animals. At present on site they have over 60 dogs, 90 cats and kittens plus a number of rabbits and guinea pigs.
