Bruce

Dog for Adoption

 Breed Size Sex Age

Bruce is an incredibly handsome young boy who is looking for a home with people who are experienced with the breed and can continue his basic training.

Bruce currently knows sit, but would enjoy doing further training with his new owners to build a bond and to keep his brain stimulated.

Bruce is currently a whopping 26kg and could do with losing a little weight as he becomes out of breath quite quickly during even gentle exercise.  He is a stocky dog, there is no denying that, but he isn’t a tall dog and his joints will suffer in the long run.

He enjoys playing with a tennis ball if you throw one for him, but he hasn’t quite got the idea about bringing the ball back to you.

We have been offering an exchange (another ball) and this has been working well.  If you do not offer an exchange he will attempt to pick the ball up at the same time you do which means he catches your hands – there is no aggression, just bad timing.

He has been mixed with other dogs and has been non-reactive, however he will need to be the only dog in the home due to a previous altercation. Owners should continue to keep Bruce socialised with other dogs.

In the right home, Bruce will make a wonderful and loving companion.

Can you offer this lovely boy a loving and permanent new home?
