Dog for Adoption

William has come a long way from his early days when he came to Last Chance Hotel with an untreated hernia, didn’t like being touched too much and would run away from his lead.

His fosterer’s love and attention have helped William come out of his shell and really enjoy attention.
Here’s what they have to say about him:

“William is a lovely dog who is great company to be with. He is not demanding but will watch everything you do as he hates being left out. He is happy to walk for just 10 minutes each day, but is equally happy with a jaunt of several miles.
He does have trouble with his hearing, but is capable of understanding many gestures to make up for that. He has no trouble sleeping through the night and is very clean around the house although he does shed some hair despite daily grooming.

He loves nothing more than a cuddle on the sofa and a massage on his chin. He seems to have forgotten how to play with soft toys or a tennis ball but now really enjoys rolling a Kong around to get the food. He is friendly and playful with other dogs in the house but is sometimes unsure of other dogs when met on the lead.
A loving dog who will give much to his new owner”

William is around 10 years old and can live with other dogs and older respectful children. He does chase cats, but could possibly live with a dog savvy cat that can teach him some feline manners!
