Max

Dog for Adoption

 Breed Size Sex Age

Hello my name is Max.

I am an affectionate boy and I came to Senior Staffy Club because my owner could no longer look after me.

When I first arrived at my new foster home I was quite clingy – I liked to sleep on top of my foster mom! – but now I am settled and I am sleeping well at night in my own bed, and I am eating properly where I did not really want to eat

to begin with (apart from the odd stolen packet of pork scratchings!) – but now I am happy enough and can be left for short periods.
I once lived with a Jack Russell bitch, for one year, and got on well with her, so I may be able to live with the right dog again, and I dont show any aggression to other dogs while out walking.

I walk quite nicely on the lead, only occasionally pulling. I had developed a habit of spinning

if on a long lead, but I am learning quickly not to do this in my new foster home.
I have never lived with cats but I have never shown any inclination to chase them (nor sheep, birds, guinea pigs! etc).

I am also said to be good with children, but as I have not lived with them before (I dont remember living with them before), so I think children of 10 years and upwards would be best.

Senior Staffy Club is a registered charity who rescue and rehome Senior Staffys and Staffy Cross dogs aged 7yrs and over throughout the UK.
