Dog for Adoption

Hi, my name is Cassius. I came to the rescue with my friend Jack after our owner passed away. Jack has since been rehomed, but I am still waiting for my forever family to come along.

When i first came to the rescue I was quite wary of new people, especially men, but my carers have been doing lots of work with me and I am turning into a happy, friendly boy and getting much more confident with everyone i meet. I have been introduced to some female dogs here at the sanctuary, but i do not have very good manners and tend to bark in their face and nip their bottoms, so think i would prefer to be the only dog in the house. I would also enjoy all the attention to myself! Unfortunately i could not live with cats or children.

I would like my new owners to be experienced with my breed, as i am a typical Rottweiler. I would need a strong handler who would be willing to continue working with me and socialising me with other dogs. I am muzzle trained and will walk quite happily with it on. I walk lovely on the lead and also enjoy the odd mad zoom around our secure field.

I love my toys and having a good game of tug & war, but my favourite thing is food, and I will do anything for it! I am a very clever boy and know lots of commands (though I do get a bit exuberant when giving paw!) I am very eager to please.
