Foxy

Rehomed

Beautiful Foxy was involved in a criminal abuse case. She was taken from her owner in May and placed in police kennels whilst her owner awaited trial. Following a guilty verdict, Foxy was released for rehoming and is thankfully now safe with us. More details regarding the abuse Foxy received will be discussed with any future potential adoptees. Foxy is a truly beautiful girl that has not let this terrible ordeal affect her. She is a wonderful dog, so loyal and loving.

She is currently in a foster home and doing ever so well. She dotes on her foster mum and we can see what a fantastic friend she will make for her future home! Foxy is currently in foster with other animals but until we get to know her more we are airing on the side of caution as to whether she can live with other dogs or cats in the future. image

She does have some separation anxiety, she will panic a little when left alone. This is not surprising given her history. She will need someone home for most of the day that can build her up slowly to being left.

Foxy has had a lump removed, it has since been confirmed it was a low grade mast cell tumour.  It is possible this will not cause any future problems, however it is also possible that it will re-grow.  Staff can elaborate in more depth about this type of tumour and the prognosis.  We sincerely hope this does not deter people from offering Foxy a loving home, she has suffered terribly in the past at the hands of her abuser and despite all she has been through she has remained a wonderful, beautiful, loving girl with so much to give her new home.  If any dog deserves a bright future, full of love, it is Foxy!
