Moss

Rehomed

Moss is a wonderful English dog who found himself homeless over 18 months ago. Unfortunately during all that time, he has been staying in various kennels with not much exposure and no real adoption possibilities. We have taken him on to give him a chance, he is a beautiful dog who we feel may be lurcher cross, as he has a long neck, but let’s just say he is a wonderful mixture of breeds. His personality is golden, he is great with the other dogs in the kennels, he has a soft nature and will make someone very happy. We feel he may be around 5 years old but it is a guess. Moss is a very strong dog, so families applying should be physically fit, although he does walk on the lead nicely. He also has a very marked prey drive and we do not think that Moss would do well located in the countryside. He would be much better suited to perhaps a more urban area. He is incredibly affectionate, perhaps one of our most relaxed dogs when it comes to people and also other dogs, which makes him a big hit with all the volunteers. He is absolutely charming with everyone and spending time in his company is a real pleasure. Because of his size, we would prefer to place Moss with families with children over then age of 14 if there are any children. When Moss came to us he had a sore on one of his back feet which has now almost healed so he is ready to find the home he deserves so much. Moss really does need to be met in person to appreciate what a softie he is and how stunningly beautiful he looks. To express interest please fill in an application form.
