Poppy

Rehomed

Sweet Poppy has come into our care sadly due to her owner no longer being able to care for her. She is quite a shy and timid girl until she feels comfortable around you and would need a very patient and understanding home. She loves her cuddles and play time once confident and gets really giddy to see you when you enter. She is a really affectionate dog deep down and just needs that special home to bring her out of herself.

Poppy would need an adult only home without any visiting children and no other animals. She could be left for part of the day but does enjoy being with you and this would certainly gain her confidence.

We would advise on lead exercise as Poppy can be a little cheeky and have selective hearing. She is not too keen with the presence of other dogs also. She would need further slow introductions to being bathed and groomed and additional introductions to meeting new people.

If you are interested in giving one of our dogs a home, please give us a call on 01455 888257 or complete an interested parties form. Alternatively you can come and visit the kennels between 10am – 2.30pm (we are open everyday, except Christmas Day), no appointment necessary.

We ask any potential owners to complete an Interested Parties Form. You can do this at the Centre or download it and email it back to us info@leicesteranimalaid.org.uk
