Snowy

Rehomed

Snowy is a 5 year old Female Tripawd deaf Lurcher that has come to us through no fault of her own. Snowy was previously rehomed through Hope rescue but due to the changing of circumstances is looking for a new home.

Snowy will need an experienced owner due to her disabilities. Her tripawd status does not really pose an issue for her and she is able to cope- just sometimes need help to scratch her right ear (but what dog doesn’t?)

Her deafness means that she needs routine and a secure, reassuring family that can help whenever she needs. She does not cope well being left for long periods as she can become quite insecure.

Snowy relies on other dogs in the home to help keep her safe on walks so friendly canine companions would be a huge bonus. Snowy is very dominant so ideally is looking for a calm doggy companion that she can boss around.

Whenever dogs comes into our care they spend a minimum of 2 weeks before they are adopted. This is because the majority of our dogs come from Local Authority pounds and with little or no previous history. This initial assessment period allows us to assess temperament, personality and the best match for a new home. We do not work on a first come first served basis but always strive to find the ideal home for each dog.

All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to adoption. A homecheck is required, and you will need to come to meet the dog with your own dog(s) and family. Our adoption fee is £160.
