Treacle is a wonderful girl who was sadly returned to us as she was not getting along with the other dog in the home.

She is an active girl that enjoys going for walks and exploring new environments.

When Treacle arrived with us initially she was overweight, but she has done really well and is now starting to look and feel much better for losing the excess weight she was carrying.

Treacle loves meeting new people and will approach you in an excitable manner – she will jump up if she gets too overexcited, which is where she could knock very small children over.

Treacle has been good when tested with other dogs, but she will not tolerate overly boisterous or dogs that do not respect her space; however due to her behaviour in the home around food, we will not be looking to place Treacle in a home with any other pets.

Treacle is a little hard of hearing and appears to respond to higher pitch noises. We have been using our arms as well when signalling her to return when off lead.

In a home with people who have owned dogs previously Treacle will make a wonderful addition.

Can you offer this lovely girl a loving and permanent new home?
